How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau stands out because of how visually powerful and intuitive it is. It makes complex data easy to understand through clean, interactive dashboards, and it connects to a wide range of data sources seamlessly. The drag-and-drop interface also makes it really accessible—even for people without a strong technical background.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of Tableau is how easy it is to turn raw data into clear, interactive visuals. It helps tell a story with data in a way that’s both insightful and easy to share with others.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes, it can feel a bit overwhelming for beginners—especially when dealing with calculated fields or more advanced features. Also, the licensing cost can be a bit high for smaller teams.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take the time to go through some basic training or tutorials—it makes a huge difference. Start with small dashboards and build up from there. And if possible, try the free version (Tableau Public) to get a feel for it before committing.
