What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), cloud-based data (Google Analytics, AWS, Snowflake), large data systems (Hadoop), and spreadsheets (Excel, CSV, Google Sheets) are just a few of the many data sources that ableau supports. Users may work with nearly any kind of data with ease thanks to this degree of integration.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Tableau's dynamic dashboards and data exploration features make it an extremely useful tool for doing in-depth analysis and successfully sharing findings with stakeholders. The tool's real-time data manipulation and interaction capabilities are what I like best about it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Dashboard sharing is possible with Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud, although both platforms can be difficult for businesses without dedicated Tableau administrators to set up and manage. Especially for larger teams or companies, managing user permissions, security settings, and data access can become challenging.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Think about if Tableau's built-in data preparation features are adequate for your needs if your work entails a lot of data wrangling and cleaning. Before analyzing in Tableau, you might want to look into Tableau Prep or other external tools like Alteryx or Python for difficult data preparation tasks.
