Designed for business users, it has an intuitive point-and-click interface for building queries and dashboards without needing SQL—ideal for quick insights. Metabase can be set up rapidly on-premises or in the cloud, with minimal configuration, making it approachable for teams without extensive IT support. The concept of “questions” (queries saved as reusable objects) encourages exploration and collaboration, simplifying data discovery.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Metabase is its user-friendly, no-code interface that empowers non-technical users to quickly create queries and dashboards

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Metabase is its limited advanced analytics and customization capabilities compared to more mature BI platforms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use Metabase for straightforward reporting, ad hoc queries, and dashboarding to quickly deliver value to business users. Where possible, create summary tables or materialized views in your database to improve dashboard performance.

What differentiates Metabase from other similar products?

Metabase is a very easy software to learn and use. In just a few minutes you can create a new Dashboard, integrating different data sources in a simple way. This is very useful for non-technical clients.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its simplicity of use does not mean that it works poorly, on the contrary, it is a very fast tool with a reasonable amount of data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Our clients are Spanish, so we miss a greater variety of training in the Spanish language.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Since it is free to try, we recommend giving it a try to see what it is capable of. If you are satisfied, the support is very good.

The mobile feature, even though it doesnt have a app but it has a mobile veiwing feature and i think that can be improved on
