What differentiates Adobe Experience Manager from other similar products?
I feel AEM provides a comprehensive solution - it is a CMS that can be highly customized - We replaced Documentum which is an enterprise content management platform with AEM - We built a custom workflow which lots of capabilities similar to what is available in Word or excel. The bets part is that we built a portal on AEM which would get all the content from the workflow in real time. We also introduced the Adobe analytics which is really phenomenal.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is highly customizeable - it can be integrated with Adobe analytics which is pioneer in providing real-time analytics and detailed segmentation. We were able to deliver the entire solution in 9-10 months
What do you dislike most about this product?
It doesnt have smart table feature and the rcih text editor lacks some basic features
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You have to think from a broader perspective - You need to build an end to end solution out of AEM and then only you can get the true benefit of AEM - without Adobe analytics there is no real benefit.
