One system that does so much for small businesses!

What differentiates SpotOn Restaurants from other similar products?

We started with another system (used for 1 year) that didn't have the integrations that we wanted for our business (loyalty, scheduling, time keeping) and it was very clunky to manage day-to-day operations. Switching to Spot On allowed me to get all of my information in one place that made it easier for me to manage, use and train on. My stress level has gone way down! The best part of Spot On is there field support and help with anything and everything that need!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that the loyal program (rewards) are integrated into the POS so that my customers don't have to deal with another terminal, We also just started using their Experiences system (scheduling) and I am loving it so far! Being able to get accurate reports at my fingertips is also huge. The labor management and payroll coordination are something we aren't using it yet, but intend to as we grow to more locations. We are only one location as of today, but working on opening additional locations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

So many features bundled into one vendor that supports me and helps transition smoothly. I have been with them for almost 2 years now and keep adding additional features and they never let me down.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Find out what you are "locked in to". I didn't know I had one day out of the year to end my contract with a previous vendor that I started out with. When I changed to Spot On, the previous vendor required me to pay for their services for 6 months until my "one day per year" came up and I could cancel. It was a nightmare and I was surprised when it happened. There is so much information and so many decisions to make when starting a new business (or growing your existing one) that it's easy to miss things like this if you don't ask the specific questions. Make sure you ask!
