Microsoft Teams is easy to use and works well with other Microsoft apps like Outlook, Word, and Excel. It has chat, video calls, file sharing, and meetings all in one place, so we don’t need many different tools. It is also secure and reliable for daily work. The integration with Office tools and smooth collaboration makes it different from many other platforms.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite thing is that everything is in one place. I can chat, join meetings, share files, and work with my team easily without switching apps. It saves time and makes daily work simple.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the app becomes slow or hangs, especially during calls. Notifications can also be confusing and too many at times. Searching old messages or files is not always easy.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say this is a good tool for daily work and team communication. It is easy to use and works well with other Microsoft apps. Before using, make sure your team understands the basic features. Also, check your internet connection for better call quality.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

teams has a reputation of being corporate and we are a tiny startup using the free version so it works fabulous. it beats a million applications for chat and one for video to go along with it. I like that it saves our project notes along with our chat all in one place. it feels very efficient.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the screen share works really well, and giving someone else control is great because they can fix whatever bug I have in my code or pro bono edit a spreadsheet for me. it’s very collaborative. Not to mention that the mobile notifications hardly ever fail-never miss an important message from a co-founder.

What do you dislike most about this product?

it also eats way too much space on my harddrive. A typical chat app wears many times more MB than anticipated.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

if you are a small team who is looking to get organised on a budget teams is shockingly good.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

we have the walkie talkie feature on our phones when we are on the warehouse floor and it is a life saver since having a separate radio is unnecessary and the range is huge since it uses the wifi. it is a very smart application to the mobile app as it is not needed by people who spend all day at a desk.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the shifts option is what allows us to handle our entire schedule. i can see when i am working and even request a shift swap directly on my phone. my boss accepts it in a few seconds and everyone is notified. it is much more convenient than the old paper schedule that we had to tape to the breakroom door.

What do you dislike most about this product?

the walkie talkie button is also a little too easy to press accidentally when you have the phone in your pocket. i have previously accidentally broadcasted some random pocket noise to my entire team.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

because any business with employees on their feet teams has the most mobile-first features that I've ever observed.
