What differentiates Jira Software Cloud Premium from other similar products?

it is designed for organization running multiple teams and complex project at once. Features like advanced roadmaps plan across with real dependencies not just isolated backlogs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It being able to plan work across multiple teams, see real dependencies and forcast timelines in one place is incredibly useful.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Premium is noticeably more expensive than standard plans and many competing tools so it can feel like overkill if team isn't fully using features like advanced roadmaps or sandbox.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your setup is simple the cost and complexity may not be worth it but for scaling teams it's a strong and dependable choice.

What differentiates Jira Software Cloud Premium from other similar products?

Historically, we used a variety of different products for project management; however, that approach left a lot of departments feeling siloed from one another. Our IT team had already been using Jira for years, so when we were looking for a better way to get all teams under the same umbrella of support, Jira was the natural solution. Our IT team then helped other departments learn to use the different functions of the Jira products, (e.g., knowledge base, boards, automations, etc).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We use the automation for a lot of our ticketing and workflows. Process that used to take manual intervention are completed a lot faster and without the potential for human error. (Getting reports on when something goes askew is great as well.)

What do you dislike most about this product?

We would really like to see a better way of allocating permissions to individuals. It always seems like we are either giving someone too much access or not enough.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Allow your teams to teach each other the different aspects that they use the most. A lot of the time, those teams will pick up on something they did not know about and start implementing on their side.
