What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?

The main difference with other tracking or analytics tools is that Google Analytics is free. It helps you track your both web and app data along with paid media campaigns running on platforms like Meta or Google. The data has enough variables to give enough information, you get the user's age, gender, interests, profession, and geographic location. So it is an interesting platform to have.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part as of now is that now Google Analytics uses event based data in-place of session based data. Which now gives a new way to understand your user flow on your website.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The one thing which bugs most of the users is the its customer support. Very difficult to get hold of them and get your issues resolved in timely manner.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Hey, First thing is that Google Analytics is free so go for it. And second thing is that if you really wish to understand your user flow in your website then this is a must tool so I don't think anyone would want to avoid it.

You've to tatget search engine, so why would you prefer any other tool, first go to tool is this.

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?

Google analytics data metrics covers a vast area of user interaction with our web and mobile platform , such as multi-channel attributions, audience segmentation, traffic reporting and traffic source tracking, funnel analysis, etc While close substitute solutions provides specific metrics, none is currently able to provide metrics as vast as what Google analytics provides . Asides the above, Google analytics is deeply integrated with Google's ecosystem by integrating with other Google solution like Google search and Google ads. Enabling a more advanced visibility into cross channel conversion tracking and search performance.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Analytics built-in automation, I love this part of Google analytics and it is currently my favorite, I have leveraged on Google analytics (GA) machine learning models to analyze critical data generated off the end-users interaction with my company's product website and mobile app. By using GA's in-built machine learning models, it is a lot straightforward to predict the behavior and future actions of our website and mobile application users with less manual effort.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although I do get spoilt for choice when I use Google analytics for tracking website and mobile application data, I was overwhelmed in the first few months of using this software solution. This complexity was as a result of the amount of features and settings available on Google analytics, is the major con I can associate with this product. Good training within organizations and even dedicated access to Google analytics support materials help to alleviate the above potential 'con' of this product.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Google analytics.
