What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?

Ability to enable detailed metrics through action tracking.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can be difficult to navigate intuitively because there are a number of features that don't make sense for normal and average users and there is not much detailed documentation about these extra features.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you want something that is free and shows simple statistics really well without much setup requires, Google Analytics does a great job of that. It is quick and easy to set up. To do more advanced tracking of funnel steps or e-commerce behaviour it takes a little more time and effort to set up.

The UI is a little clunky, and I always have to spend a second trying to remember how to find the data I'm looking for I would like to see some more customization options when it comes to reporting and setting up custom reports.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Some more customization options when it comes to reporting and setting up custom reports would make Google Analytics more attractive and user-friendly. Also, a good training guide on Google Analytics is needed as the software learning takes a lot of time.

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
As Google does, their products interact with eachother very well. Failures in communication between Google Ads and Analytics is typically a result of incorrect setup/binding of the accounts. Overall, Analytics is the simplest and easiest to use compared to competitors. It's not as flashy and in my opinion doesn't allow you to get as much into the weeds regarding sales/conversion attribution and valuation of a conversion...but it does most everything well enough. Support is slow and has gone down significantly over the years.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Integrates with anything Google product very easily and is trustworthy. Linking to DataStudio makes building custom reports a breeze.
What do you dislike most about this product?
They're slow to innovate and service at times can be very slow or non-responsive.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Beef up your customer service. Many of us are Google loyalists and feel we deserve more attention....especially when we're doing a large volume of business with your company.
