What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
Google Analytics is the norm in website/ app analytics. It offers extremely rich information, but only for certain kinds of analysis. Plus, it easily integrates with many other platforms. For example, it is easy to extract information and send it to Google Sheets via API or an add-on and then analyze there the information. Also, it integrates well with Google Ads and Google Search Console. For me, it is the more reliable source of information. At the same time, when I want to see simple things such as what did a concrete users on the site, I can not do it. And many other "simple" things become complex.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the attribution of profits for each channel that it does in e-commerce. So that I can even know what products sell the most, at what times, countries, etc. I can also find information about site speed, most popular landing pages, set goals, receive alerts, etc. And it is all free. GA also ads the information of Google Ads. I find it very useful to improve SEO efforts, as well as to improve Google Ads performance with extra knowledge.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I do not find it optimal to understand the customer's journey and to create funnels. I like to see what some individual users do, to create patterns in my mind. And then test different funnels (usually from social media) to improve my paid campaigns from Facebook. Here, I do not notice Google Analytics was that good. And other alternatives, like Funelytics, could be better. Also, it is difficult to "play" with past data, to discover the path that users followed, as it seems that when you set a new view, it starts at that time to measure the data, and not analyze in the view the past data. Also I do not like that it uses cookies.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is a great product. And even when there is a paid version for big corporations, the free one is excellent. Even when a bit complex to fully use to get relevant information. At the same time, there are more flexible an easy-to-use solutions if you want to analyze funnels (TrueConversion, HockeyStack, Funnelytics). Also solutions that add Heatmaps have become popular. However, I always end up going back to GA. It may slow a bit your site, and add cookies, but the benefits usually surpass the inconveniences. Plus, it has many options for exporting data and analyzing it in different applications.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
The first time a device like desktop, laptop, smartphone,or a browser like chrome, internet explorer, loads your website content, Google Analytics tracking code creates a random, unique id called the client id and send it to GA server. This unique id is counted as a new unique user in Google Analytics.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I like best with regards to Google analytics is the capacity to see continuous traffic. Watching clients effectively utilize the site permits me to build the client's experience by telling me what regions clients are intrigued or not inspired by. I likewise love the traffic stream analysis by Google analytics. Having this information tells me how a client's excursion is on our website page.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It being so complex, it does take time to master it, and so you should watch the training videos and get all the support you can set up the first time because its harder to reverse and have to set up again if not done correctly and you lose out on tons of date.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Information is the most popular ware, on the off chance that you know how to utilize Google analytics accurately you can simple exploit the information to work out more compelling advertising efforts.
