What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
The event-based funnel feature introduced in the Google Analytics 4 update sets it apart from other analytics tools I have used. It allows me to create custom funnels based on events, not just URLs, providing me with greater flexibility in tracking user behavior. Additionally, I can compare the specific paths visitors take through our website, helping me identify the most effective route to encourage a visitor to take a specific action on the site.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love that Google analytics provides me with detailed tracking of user behaviour on our web , mobile application. Plus, I also have the choice to customize generated reports to zero-in on specific metrics . I value this part of Google analytics the most because I rely on it to measure the impact and success or failures of our user interface changes and modifications.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The tardiness of Google analytics help-documentation in keeping pace with major updates such as the last Google Analytics 4 update was a source of frustration for me. This lag between the update and help documentation forced me to invest extra effort in figuring out the changes on my own, which resulted in a significant amount of additional time being expended. Furthermore, some of my colleagues who were not frequent users of the Google Analytics platform struggled to extract actionable insights during that time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Google Analytics undoubtedly offers my team abundant data on how users engage with our web and mobile applications. In my opinion, it's the best analytics tool available in the market.
