What differentiates Elastic Observability from other similar products?
The efficient searching capabilities & cost efficiency as compared to other products in the market, are the features which makes it different from others. Keeping the features updated without impact on billing is the only thing which the organizations need in this time to build & setup their Observability environment.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to investigate unknown issues using real-time search across all observability data makes the elastic platform different from other solutions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As mentioned above in the headline, elastic requires extensive learning about it features during the initial phase while exploring the tool. These learning sets up the engineer for a roller coaster ride, with some tough & some easy feature explorations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is not a traditional observability tool, it comes with intelligent searches which when learned about can easily help the organizations to detect & resolve the incidents in realtime without hampering much of the business.

When the selected period is too long it has some performance issues but it is manageable with separate periods.
