What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?
Data dog delivers a great platform for data visualization and AI driven incident management for better productivity and effectiveness. It track and monitors the systems and applications performance and identifies issues and errors to ensure consistent service reliability. Cloud based platform for easy onboarding of applications across the Datadog. Easy integrations with other infrastructure support tools such as Docker, Jenkins, etc.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is ease of integrations and seamless connection with other various applications which ensures high productivity for resolution of issues. An easy and interactive incident management tool powered with Ai features for optimal system tracking and monitoring the systems effectively.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Datadog has several advantages but it can be expensive for the larger environments. Continuous learning for new features and enhancements based on documentations and demonstrations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Datadog is a great tool with several functionalities which will assist the users to perform various tasks like monitoring, incident management, alert management, etc using the same platform. I will recommend this product because of its promising potential.

What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?
Provision of full stack observability and not just network monitoring since it combines the three observability pillars namely metrics, logs and traces hence covers performance analytics, logs, network traffic, applications, cloud services and infrastructure. Contains a large integration ecosystem making it easy to integrate with the existing Finacial IT infrastructure.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is a SaaS monitoring platform and this reduces infrastructure management overhead for my team Has a strong APM
What do you dislike most about this product?
Has a complex pricing structure that is dependent on APM traces, hosts, network and synthetic monitoring among others all of which make cost management quite challenging
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For enhanced cost management control log and metrics retention by monitoring only the critical hosts, reducing log retention period, using sampling for traces and filtering all unnecessary logs.
