Powerful tool for prospecting, but needs cleaner.

What differentiates ZoomInfo Sales from other similar products?
ZoomInfo has one of the more extensive databases of B2B contacts and company profiles, including job titles, phone numbers, company size, technologies used, etc. That gives you breadth for prospecting across industries and geographies, Strong CRM/integration workflow support. At the same time, ZoomInfo tends to be on the more expensive side, especially if you want many of its premium features (intent, direct dials, large usage). Because of its many features and filters, the platform can be complex to fully leverage.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It lets you prioritize outreach to prospects who are more likely to engage, instead of just cold-targeting. Helps focus effort where it’s likely to convert, saving time and increasing efficiency.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The pricing is steep, especially for small & mid-sized companies. Some leads or contact info are inaccurate, outdated, or missing. Especially problematic for harder-to-reach roles or smaller companies. Because the platform offers so many filters, metrics, data points, etc., it’s possible to get “data overload,” where it becomes hard to focus on what really matters. Because ZoomInfo has many features, filters, and options, it can feel overwhelming to set up and use effectively.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Know exactly what you want ZoomInfo to help with — lead generation, account based marketing, shortening sales cycles, enrichment, etc. That makes it easier to pick the right plan/features.. Make sure the contacts & companies covered are relevant to your geography, industry, seniority levels. Ask for sample data in your region to verify accuracy. Understand payment terms, renewal periods, seat/license fees. Check for hidden costs (export credits, extra usage, etc.). Make sure termination clauses are fair.Use “Scoops” (or equivalent intent / buying signal data) but filter carefully.
Pros
- Saves Time
