What differentiates UFT One from other similar products?

It's sheer volume of features as well as cross platform support make it a viable contender for those who have cross platform needs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability for it to support so may platforms under one roof.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The bulkiness as well as lack of transparency sometimes this application has can be daunting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Think about your use cases of testing across IT and your business and how both shake hands before you consider just buying any tool. That goes for other tools, not just UFT.

What differentiates UFT One from other similar products?

One-stop solution for all your automation needs, it is one of the oldest automation tools out there! it offers powerful features and provides good ROI in the long run.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The connection with ALM is seamless. All the run results can be fetched from ALM which improves test planning. multiple add-ons help in using UFT for any scenario. Insight Object spy in UFT is a very unique and powerful option.

What do you dislike most about this product?

the license cost of UFT is very high. UFT compiles you to use its products from Micro Focus, which are license tools and the cost is high.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

if you are using products from micro focus, like ALM or octane, etc go for UFT for the automation option. but if you are not using products from microfocus, then we have many alternatives in the market which provide better value.
