Slow, steady development and dependable execution
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Trello from other similar products?
I considered shiny alternatives several times from smaller developers that offered new or exciting features, but I found the dependable execution at Trello to generally triumph
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Trello has a track record of solid execution and has developed as a platform for third-party developers to add customizable features, which in many cases is able to fill in gaps that the Trello product team has not yet addressed directly
What do you dislike most about this product?
Trello started as a Kanban board, and it did that very well. The industry morphed and began to demand more, and Trello was slow to respond. Ultimately, it feels like they hid any other views for interacting with data behind the paywall
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start simple and begin using it. I iterated many times over the years, tweaking aspects of my workflow and adding more features. With patience, Trello can be extremely useful
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Respectful
Cons
- Commodity Features
- Less Efficient Service
- Leverages Incumbent Status
