What differentiates Trello from other similar products?

Trello helped me organize our development and bug-fixing sprints by providing a visual way to organize, prioritize and track what was currently being developed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Trello is very versatile in its logic and design to cover various use cases within creative teams, startups, and other organizations. The use of columns and cards and the calendar view offers excellent flexibility for most creative, brainstorming, and moodboard/resources reviews.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Power-ups and third-party widgets are a great way to boost Trello's functionality, however, there is a certain rigidity to the general layout of an opened card when you add custom fields and widgets that make reading the information in a card a bit complex. So basically, specific use cases benefit more from a flexible database-style setup than a kanban-style platform such as Trello.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Trello gives a quick and easy visual way to track progress in projects. We can easily see the status of a project and what needs to happen next. I appreciate that different individuals can collaborate on a specific project but not all of them. It's also nice to get email updates when things are changed and updated.
