What differentiates Talend Data Quality from other similar products?
The engine it uses to process a large amount of data is impressive, as are the connectors it has for various RDBMS, which other tools do not have. The friendly interface and intuitive environment are what draw the eye.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Like every aspect of Talend Data Quality, for example, developers have a lot of flexibility and provide a lot of predefined ready-to-use functions but also allow them to use complex java code within the platform. The visual user interface for dragging and dropping services is fantastic which makes it easier to create complex workflows. Definitely simplified our development efforts in doing data integration, saving many human hours.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some of the support elements, in my opinion, could be improved. We have a large customer base, and they require more personalized service from them and it requires a large amount of memory to use the application.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Worried about data quality and needing a low-cost solution? Then I must say your search is over just grab it. DQS allows us to visualize and track data quality KPIs over time, as well as identify and resolve quality issues and effective business decisions across the organization.

What differentiates Talend Data Quality from other similar products?
I love the functionality of Talend. It has allowed us to clean up the customer and product data master files, preventing customers from trading numerous accounts with us and allowing our branch network to increase margin rates by applying the correct item code and cost association.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best scenario that I see as productive is having multiple sources of information, which the tool allows me to consolidate into a single income channel while maintaining the integrity of the data. I also like how financial data is handled because accounting records require speed and accuracy. This tool, I feel, would be 100 percent productive in our business.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The Community edition lacks print and export features, which annoys many of our clients and internal users. All Talend products, including DQ, have a severe learning curve. There aren't many easy-to-create workflows for repeatable operations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This tool is ideal if data needs to be integrated into the data warehouse regularly for analytics. It gives developers a lot of versatility because it not only offers a lot of ready-to-use functions, but it also allows them to employ complicated java code within the platform.

Talend Data Quality can connect the data quality data mart to your own reporting tool. From the integration perspective, you have access to hundreds of components for all your data integration needs, including Salesforce.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I can analyze data, examine and refer to the results of the analysis.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It doesn't integrate well with the Azure Git repository.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is a database of reports where you can keep a history of the reports created and share the results among team members.
