What differentiates Sprout Social from other similar products?

Their customer service goes above and beyond. I constantly worked with my Sprout rep on features I wanted to see, how I used the product, ease of use, etc. I was able to meet other users, work with different groups and it helped me improve my own use for the tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

TAGGING! (check out the webinar on it) -- it was a game-changer for reporting, messaging, etc. The content calendar made life so much easier and the inbox was a life-saver for managing multiple channels.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing really, there were some improvements here and there as the industry grew, but Sprout always was ready to adjust to new features on social platforms

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Play around with features, use social listening, work with your rep and give lots of feedback and show them what you are working on to get the most out of the platform for your business.

What differentiates Sprout Social from other similar products?

Sprout includes every conceivable function for social media management, from initial strategy and content production, to scheduling/editorial, to community management and response, to final analytics and reporting. It's truly a complete end-to-end product, which is shown in the high price compared to its competition. However, it's essentially like buying a whole car (Sprout) versus other stores only carrying tires and engine but missing the seats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the ease of scheduling and the available content report to send to clients to have an at-a-glance view of the calendar ahead's posts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is difficult for agencies to afford the best, and while I appreciate all that Sprout's capable of, the price may push folks off to lesser alternatives and sour them on the non-native social content workflow. Which, obviously, is a loss for all involved.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Really have a good feel for how you'd like to use it, and get in touch with the support/sales team. They're flexible and will help you match the product to your needs!
