What differentiates OnePlan from other similar products?

The project management approach is more rigorous than other products we looked at. The MS Project intergration is also very good.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The integration with MS Project.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I found it very difficult to self-learn how to set up and use OnePlan. Because we are a small organisation and our exchange rate with the US$, procuring the services of OnePlan to assist with this was not affordable. Hence we have to self-learn to set up and use the software. The documentation and videos we have access to are not sufficient for this. We have now negotiated a time based arrangement for support whcih I think will help. Consideration should be given to alternative pricing models for small companies, eg monthly payments, because i beleive OnePlan when correctly setup will be extremely useful.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ensure that it is setup correctly from the start.

What differentiates OnePlan from other similar products?

The features for resource allocation within projects makes ensuring we have the right resources on a project.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The simple manner in which I can create and modify a project plan and allocate resources to each item.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The clunkiness of the environment as a whole. When making changes on the backend it can be difficult to make quick changes to multiple areas.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking at a large portfolio of products and being able to assign ownership to project tasks, OnePlan does an excellent job.
