What differentiates MURAL from other similar products?
The way in which permissions can be given to third parties is very easy. When workshops are done online, it is much easier for users, I have tried other platforms but the learning curve is faster with mural.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the way you can invite people without tedious registration and how quickly guests understand how to use it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
when you use the free version it is not clear that when the free trial ends, you definitely lose access to your boards. And this was painful for me. They should let people know so they can download their information before the trial ends.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is perfect for facilitating workshops. It is not necessary to spend a lot of time explaining the tool because the public understands it very quickly. It can be integrated with teams with ease.

What differentiates MURAL from other similar products?
Summon feature that allows facilitator to gather everyone to the same point as the facilitator, very useful to support novice users and especially when you have an endless whiteboard because end users like to blindly explore and this feature can save the embarrassment. The navigation allows to zoom in to specific areas, and the hand feature allows to drag and zoom without spoiling board. Useful industry templates available like Design Thinking, SW, Lean Canvas which can be dragged and commented on top of
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Easy and intuitive application, drag and drop images and other templates I can share my canvas easily; even those novice users can join, allowing introverts to actively participate Useful industry templates available like Design Thinking, SW, Lean Canvas Endless whiteboard Re-sizing of post-it note contents as you type Summon everyone to follow you, especially when you have an endless whiteboard
What do you dislike most about this product?
Unable to customize templates - forced to use built-in templates Not able to call someone to the board by a simple "@" mention Endless anonymous animal names! I lose track of who is in the meeting
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Probably look to get an Enterprise licence because I started off individually but soon realised that my workshop involving geographically dispersed Users needed to participate, however, with limited licence or none at all restricted the creativity of my Users - Unless they join my board anonymously. Design Thinking workshops, bringing the business user to participate and design software based on their needs and goals. Being a geographically dispersed organization with travel restrictions, this board has allowed us to reduce a 2-day workshop into 5 hours!
