Complex product to set up but otherwise good.

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
The same thing most Microsoft products benefit from, the fact they function well with and go hand in hand with other Microsoft products. An example being our used of Azure AD meaning we already have groups and users populated, all that's needed now is permission levels developed.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to use PowerShell to automate, create and use in my day to day job.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The overly complex nature of creating and implementing the tool. It almost feels like they've decided to keep the same deployment structure as on-prem offerings when there is no need to, without experts you will struggle on this aspect.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Great for maturing companies which have a Microsoft stack, and great functionality with other tools once actually set up.
Pros
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
- Efficient Service

Provides back-end resources for business solutions

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
It's an excellent location for archiving shared files and integrating data into Teams and Power Automate. It operates as a reliable backend for file preservation and operations as part of automatic services or as a Teams interface. SharePoint has provided us with a high level of dependability and longevity. We may centralize information so that all workers have access to it. It is used by our department to create lists, exchange documents, and other resources with persons outside of our department.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Sharepoint is a very stable and flexible platform built on top of Microsoft enterprise solutions. It has been in operation for a long time and seems to be fully compatible with Microsoft's new solution. SharePoint provides a central place for employees to share company information, collaborate, and access shared resources. We encourage you to use this so that your colleagues can share company information internally.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some features of SharePoint are not apparent to the end user, and considerable functionality needs some research to learn how to utilize. Its user interface is clumsy and not as fluid as some of the more advanced backend systems. I wish some of the built-in choices were more user-customizable. It would be beneficial if it were simpler to use. When I work remotely, I would also like to have a desktop version that is accessible offline.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would advise other businesses to choose Microsoft SharePoint since it provides a comprehensive set of business options. To better serve their customers, they are always updating and inventing their goods. It's absolutely worth thinking about utilizing it, especially if it's already included in the license. It easily integrates with Power Automate and Teams for shared user capabilities and cloud file storage.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
