What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

We’ve been using Mailchimp for over 10 years. We have recently tested other solutions that had similar features, but Mailchimp is priced right for us and has all the features we need

easy campaign creation and interface navigation

What do you dislike most about this product?

We couldn’t exclude more than 1 tag or segment from the campaing. But this was fixed already.

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

I’ve used Brevo, Sender, and Zoho Campaigns, and I can confidently say that Mailchimp has one of the best email deliverability rates and it consistently gets past spam filters. I also really appreciate the flexibility of its segmentation features when filtering who to send emails to, Zoho and Sender don’t offer that level of control. Another feature I love is the ability to show different content in the same email using conditional merge tags which makes it good for personalization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Email segmentation is my best feature on Mailchimp, it’s flexible and easy to use. The customer journey builder is also pretty straightforward, with helpful templates to start from. Mailchimp has been around for a long time, and that longevity shows in how stable and familiar the platform feels.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The email templates available under the standard pricing are quite limited. Re-engagement email options should also be more flexible, we need the ability to target contacts based on non-opens from the past 2–3 campaigns. Also, the automated birthday journey has been malfunctioning since around February. Contacts receive birthday emails on wrong dates, and I had to turn it off. Please look into this.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Mailchimp is the best in terms of user-friendliness. It makes you feel in control and is easy to understand, which makes it great for beginners. Plus, the fact is one of the pioneers of email marketing, it must have redefined its features to suit its customers and market preferences.

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

It is based on open-end technology that automatically resends the emails to increase the open rates. This software is very clear in its working without a fuss. It offers help and support in simpler and much easier ways to solve a problem, making it more user-friendly software.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Email templates, campaign management.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If a contact unsubscribes from one list, they are unsubscribed from all lists.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking to increase open rates and engagement this is the product for you.
