What differentiates Hootsuite from other similar products?

The feature that makes Hootsuite shine the most is the ability to segment it with force and clean, informative analytics. It is not only about mass emailing. It is about making the right email to the right group and then what really happened. You are able to segment your audience based on team, on level of engagement, or on any custom field that you can think of. This fact that it can customize the message to the point, coupled with reports that allow you to know who opened, who clicked, and who ignored you, is what makes it not just a tool but a strategic communication asset.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Previously, it was like screaming into the wind when one needed to send a project update that was critical. Their templates helped me to create a beautiful e-mail that looks professional in several minutes. When I send, I feel it is terrific, and what is more important, I can monitor interaction. It is wonderful to see the update is opened by all significant stakeholders.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The email template editor is largely accessible, but it is rather restrictive, which may complicate truly unique layouts in addition to standard blocks.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has completely transformed the way we do our internal communication. We no longer suffer those fearful, informative status emails that no one was reading. These visually captivating updates are now sent out. People actually open them! It is a big difference, a little word. There is less confusion, a decreased number of follow-up questions, and the teams are more engaged in the progress of the project. It feels as though we have finally solved the riddle of how we can maintain dozens of people all working together without having to meet all the time.

What differentiates Hootsuite from other similar products?

One of the most interesting things I have experienced with this tool is the sentiment analysis that plays an important role in understanding customer feedback. Another reason for using Hootsuite is that it allows us to monitor the activities of our competitors, which enables us to improve our productivity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the Multi-Platform Coverage feature the most, as I can monitor any channel from a single dashboard without having the need to switch between networks. I am able to create customizable streams, which is much easier to set up according to my needs. Hootsuite also provides the Team Collaboration and Permissions feature, which has allowed me to assign roles for monitoring different tasks with much ease and enabling a structured team workflow even if get high volume environment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Hootsuite does provide with Customizable Streams feature, but the streams do not get updated in real time due to API limitations, which has caused delays and slow crisis response.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking for a centralized platform for scheduling, posting, and monitoring all your social activities, then Hootsuite is the best choice for sure. I would recommend customizing your streams and not overloading your dashboard for smooth results.
