What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The automation and workflows engine is my favorite aspect of this product. It reduces manual intervention, streamline document approvals and enforces compliance riles without heavy custom development.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Firstly its user interface is outdates, secondly its certain advanced configuration require technical expertise. Also it is costlier for small businesses.

I would highly recommend it for organizations that relies on ERP integrations and document driven workflows. Also first evaluate the need of the team and there strength before purchasing.

Its tight ERP integration especially with Microsoft Dynamics makes it unique along similar platforms. Its workflow automation engine is highly configurable without requiring deep coding, allowing us to align document processes with businesses needs.

My favorite aspect of this product is its centralized document repository with robust security and audit trails. The OCR based intelligent data capture also reduces manual entry and improves accuracy across departments.

The user interface is challenging for new users and it has steep learning curves.

i would highly recommend the product for mid to large organization due to its smooth integration. Also there should be proper investment of time to fully implement and learn automation capabilities.

The truth is, when I started using DocStar, I didn't really know what to expect. I had worked with other document management systems before, but I always felt they were more complicated than they should be. With DocStar, it was different. At first, it was a bit difficult for me to understand how to configure workflows and permissions, but once I got the hang of it, I realized how powerful it is.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I like most is that it doesn't just store documents; it really helps you automate processes. In my case, we use it a lot for accounts payable, and it's been a relief. The system recognizes invoices, extracts the data quite accurately, and automatically sends them to the approval workflow. Before, we did that manually, and it was chaotic. Now everything is recorded, traceable, and much faster.

If I had to say something negative, I'd say it can be a bit complicated to use at first, but in terms of functionality, it does everything I need. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my documents are secure, organized, and that I can access them from anywhere.

It's a software that has helped me organize contracts, reports, and internal documents. You can search by keywords, tags, and dates, and you'll find it in seconds. That's saved me hours of work. And since it integrates well with other systems like Dynamics or Sage, I don't have to copy and paste information between platforms.
