What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When handling employee medical declarations and training certifications, I can set rules so records expire or archive automatically. This avoids manual tracking and ensures we are audit-ready.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At the moment, staff still need to request certain files through HR. A smoother portal would reduce my team’s admin time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are considering it, map compliance needs first. DocStar delivers most value when aligned with audit and legal obligations. My advice is to configure retention and access policies early, then expand into workflows like onboarding or policy acknowledgments.

Its strong emphasis on intelligent automation and seamless integration is its best part. It offers robust workflow automation, optical character recognition and secure cloud based or on-premises deployment options. It easily gets integrated with ERP systems which is beneficial for enhancing efficiency without overhauling existing systems.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It enables the creation of custom workflows for document approvals, routing and archival significantly reducing manual processing and improving compliance tracking. The smart OCR and indexing features improve document retrieval, making it easier to manage large volumes of data .
What do you dislike most about this product?
The learning curve for new user are too steep, so its quite challenging for them to navigate through the interface.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would highly recommend it for the organization where there is a strong requirement for document security, compliance tracking and workflow automation.
