How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

Compliance Without the Chaos: DocStar in Action.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates DocStar from other similar products?
It’s funny how something as simple as document management can snowball into a full-blown headache in HR. Between credentialing new hires, storing compliance documents, and keeping up with healthcare regulations, our team used to drown in paperwork and scattered files. DocStar has been our lifeline. It doesn’t just “hold” documents, it makes them actually usable across departments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What still makes me pause sometimes is the search functionality, in a good way. I can type in a keyword, a date, or even part of a name, and the system digs through thousands of files in seconds. It’s like having a hyper-organized colleague who never misplaces a folder.
What do you dislike most about this product?
If there’s one thing I’d change, it’s the notifications. They do their job, but they can feel a bit rigid.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If a colleague in HR at another healthcare organization asked me, I’d absolutely recommend DocStar. It’s not flashy for the sake of it, but it does exactly what we need, make document chaos manageable and compliance less of a scramble. For teams bogged down by endless files and audits, it’s worth a serious look.

What differentiates DocStar from other similar products?
One of the things I’ve noticed is how smooth it is to track down exactly what I need in seconds. Just last week, I was on a call with a client asking about a quote we issued months ago. Normally, I’d be scrambling through folders or pinging admin for help. Instead, I keyed in a few details in DocStar and had the signed version of that quote pulled up before the client had even finished their sentence.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The search functionality is honestly the unsung hero here. It doesn’t just look at filenames; it actually scans inside documents, which has saved me hours when I only remember a part of the spec or a clause buried in a contract. Pair that with the version control, and we no longer run into the headache of two people referencing two different drafts of an agreement.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The system doesn’t always play nicely when our vendors send over unusual file formats.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
DocStar has streamlined how we manage the mountain of paperwork tied to each sale. Compliance audits no longer send shivers down my spine because everything is indexed and easy to retrieve. And internally, collaboration between sales, finance, and operations has tightened, we’re no longer emailing back and forth looking for “the latest file.”

Energy Finance With DocStar
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates DocStar from other similar products?
What makes DocStar unique for me is how tightly it integrates invoice processing with project workflows. In energy projects, vendor payments, subcontractor invoices, and cost allocations move fast, and DocStar keeps that chain transparent
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite feature is the automated routing of approvals. When we were closing accounts for a gas pipeline maintenance project, invoices used to sit in inboxes for days.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What could get better is the reporting granularity. While I can see turnaround times and bottlenecks, slicing data by project phase or vendor category requires exporting to Excel. In finance, where we often present to leadership, I would prefer more built-in drill-downs
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are considering it, map your approval matrix carefully before rollout. DocStar shines when workflows reflect your real process, not just a generic setup. My advice is to start with one department, such as accounts payable, refine the workflow, then expand across capital projects. That phased approach is what made adoption stick in our company.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Effective Service
- Caring
- Fair
