What differentiates Check Point SandBlast from other similar products?

This is one of SandBlast's best features. When you receive a Word or PDF file. Even before it finishes scanning, SandBlast gives you a clean and safe version of that file without any risky parts like macros or scripts. Also it looks at the code and behavior of the file to detect zero day attacks.Some malware tries to delay its bad activity so that it can bypass security. SandBlast knows this trick. It waits longer and observes carefully, so it can catch those delayed attacks too.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial setup is bit complex. Sandboxing and emulation can consume a lot of system and network resources, especially during peak hours. Sometimes legitimate files or links are flagged or blocked.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your organization deals with sensitive data or is a frequent target of phishing or malware, SandBlast is a strong choice.Before full deployment, run a POC to see how it fits with your network and user experience.
