What differentiates Brivo Access from other similar products?
Provides Bluetooth-enabled smart readers and connect to smartphones. With their physical ID or smartphone, Brivo readers can easily use the Brivo Access platform to open doors. Your locks, readers and sensors can communicate with each other thanks to control panels. In addition, they allow connections between other specialized technology solutions and Brivo's access control devices.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like that we can remotely manage the access of tenants, guests, carriers and workers thanks to the visibility, intelligence and control of Brivo Access. Brivo's Access Cam enables HD video playback and real-time visual capture of building entrances. The Brivo Access program allows employees to monitor video footage and access events. You can unlock doors using a variety of access credentials, including cell phones, key cards, PINs, and fobs, thanks to the various ways to authenticate them.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are still restrictions on the support window. If you desire all the extra features, prices may increase dramatically.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend Brivo Access; you can see the user interface from any web browser or mobile device that has an internet connection because it's cloud based.

What differentiates Brivo Access from other similar products?
Brivo has been a good fit for our needs. Then there's the possibility that one of the disadvantages I listed is simply something I'm unaware of. Brivo support has also assisted us in the past, and we found it to be a positive experience. Door and gate opening is now simple no matter where you are thanks to the removal of the fob and gate clickers. Before opening the door, we can check the camera to see who is at the front door. To avoid having to wait for us to arrive at the front, we can open the doors now.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We've been able to automate our doors and gates thanks to Brivo. Our doors and gates can be opened from anywhere in the United States. To make things even more convenient, we were able to sync the app with Siri so that instead of opening the app, we can say "Hey Siri" Open (door, gate). Additionally, the website makes it simple to add new users. In terms of usability, the web interface is straightforward and reliable. All of the panels seem to pick up on the new settings fairly quickly. I appreciate the ability to schedule and email reports, as well as the ability to view events as they happen in real time.
What do you dislike most about this product?
For some reason, Apple Pay activates whenever my phone is too close to the reader. There is no risk of money being exchanged, but pressing the unlock button in the app gets in the way. The simplest solution is to use the app at a distance of no more than two feet from your body. The primary issue I have is that the card numbers in Active Directory do not sync. Even though we already have that information in AD, I must log into the interface every time a proximity card is assigned or reassigned. I've tried to get this before, but the company said no.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure to pass along the advice to keep the mobile app away from the reader's face. It works as long as you are a few feet away from the device. Multiple users will find it simple. Excellent system of protection.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service
