What differentiates Arcserve Unified Data Protection from other similar products?

we looked at arcserve because at the time it offered built in support for the existing LTO3 tape library however this is being used less as there is just too much data to backup to tape

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Instant Virtual

What do you dislike most about this product?

Having to load up the Bear Metal Recovery ISO to do a full recovery of a server, it would be good to have the option to recover the whole machine from the Arcserve agent

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its is easy to use, be careful of the licensing as we use a per core license and have to have 4 cores to cover our 2 main hypervisors. I think they have changed the licensing options available now so it may have better options for your company. Veaam is also a good option so it may be worth looking at both.
