What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?
It's simple to tweak and use immediately. Complex jobs can have a steep learning curve, but creating your first base and tables is simple. It's nice that there's a free option and that it's easy to utilize with other teams and govern material visibility.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I appreciate how flexible it is; if you need something to happen, you can usually make it so. Having a centralized location to store data and construct processes. Reducing reliance on spreadsheets and information duplication while increasing openness within the team. Customer-service related features are also being evaluated.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some tags and card/task characteristics were lost in the import, which is unfortunate. Additionally, the minimal paid plan's features were limited compared to those of similarly sized projects, and setting up the Calendar, Timeline, and Gantt was not exactly a walk in the park.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The primary goal of our project was to build a grid-based database of art assets. As our proficiency with such programs increased, we began migrating our grading database to Airtable, where it has served us well. We continue to utilize it today.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Unique Features
- Efficient Service

What do you dislike most about this product?
We do a lot of work in Salesforce, so it would be nice if the integration between Airtable and Salesforce was more robust.

It's incredibly helpful if you need to have a place where you can keep updated tables or data for easy review across teammates or supervisors. The free version is incredibly robust, and the ability to customize each template is invaluable no matter which department or area you work.

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?
Users may tailor Airtable to their own needs and processes by modifying the app's appearance, behavior, and functionality. In my line of business, this is crucial. It's possible to connect it to other programs, including the popular chat app Slack. The best aspect is that you can access it from any internet-enabled device, such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Because of this I am able to get more done in less time.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In order to centralize information, Airtable is a fantastic tool. It’s much simpler to see everything in one place than in Excel. This is great since I can adapt it to my needs by choosing from a wide variety of data field kinds. It offers an appealing aesthetic and a straightforward interface. It can handle complicated tasks as easily as it can handle basic ones. The automations that help make so many efficiencies possible are fantastic.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Airtable lacks certain functionality that rivals services like Zapier and Make. Although I anticipate that these features will be added in the future, I find that the product now meets my needs in a large percentage. It's quite close but not quite there yet. While not perfect, it remains the simplest method for performing a wide range of operations on data.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You should consider using Airtable if you work in a specialized setting that outgrows the capabilities of traditional project tracking or collaboration applications. It's incredible to have the option of customizing a single source of data to meet the needs of each team member, whether those needs are aesthetic or functional in nature. Depending on your specific requirements, the setup process may take some time, but the end result will be well worth it.
