My favorite aspect of this product is the email automation feature, which allows you to create workflows and sequences that trigger based on various conditions and actions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing I dislike most about this product is the contact volume pricing, which can be very expensive if you have a large number of contacts. For example, if you have 100,000 contacts on the Lite plan, you will pay $505 / £500 / AUD$750 per month1. This can be a deterrent for some businesses that want to scale their email marketing without breaking the bank.

Where most email marketing software concentrates mainly on campaigns, ActiveCampaign helps us to maintain customer relationships, automate follow-ups, and trace sales pipelines. All these collectively make it an extensive way out for marketing as well as for sales teams. It is a blend of personalization of the user’s journey, CRM capabilities, and automation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
ActiveCampaign supports us in customizing emails by keeping in view the nature, location, and purchase history of our customers. Such dynamic segmentation is really helpful in ensuring the relevancy of email content and addressing each recipient’s demands. It is the software that not only helps in email marketing but enhances the entire customer experience. All these make it a valuable asset for the automation and scalability of my business.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Besides offering extensive reporting analytical features, the reporting tools are quite limited and basic. The more advanced and unique visualization of the content such as charts, graphs e-t-c, would help us in expressing the outcomes of our campaigns in a much better way, which is not offered by ActiveCampaign.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Due to its advanced automated and CRM capabilities, it might seem overwhelming if you are not familiar with it, so it is suggested to start with basic functioning before directly implementing the advanced features such as in-depth CRM management.
