It's abundantly clear that to slow the devastating effects of climate change we must decarbonize, and we need to do it quickly. Limiting global warming will require decarbonization efforts deployed with near-perfect execution. That execution must include the Electrification of Everything, ensuring a steady decrease in fossil fuel consumption to be replaced with clean, renewable electricity generation in all sectors of the economy. Is creating a new grid design do-able? Sure. And having the right technology can speed it along.
