IT/OT convergence is less of a convergence and more of a migration. Info-Tech provides a three-phase framework of secure IT/OT convergence, namely Plan, Enhance, and Monitor & Optimize. The essential steps in Plan are to:

  • Initiate communication to define roles and responsibilities.
  • Establish governance and build cross-functional team.
  • Identify convergence components and compliance obligations.
  • Assess readiness.
