On July 2, 2025, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) completed the $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks, a year and a half after announcing the acquisition on January 9, 2024. The acquisition will unify the HPE Aruba Networking campus-edge platform with Juniper’s cloud, data center, and service provider routing and switching portfolio. The merger also brings Juniper’s Mist cloud stack into the HPE Networking portfolio. It’s a big deal in the enterprise networking space that will undoubtedly shake things up in the market.
