The Business Capabilities Architect (BCA) optimizes the delivery of business services at the enterprise level to realize the integrated (business/technology) strategy, and ensure that individual business units are receiving the necessary support to perform their functions. As well, the BCA:
- Demonstrates the level of alignment between strategic goals and key business and technology decisions
- Needs to have significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the business
- Must have a thorough understanding of the business to identify its needs and create business solutions.
The BCA reports to the office of the CIO.
