
About Elizabeth Freas
Executive Counselor
Elizabeth Freas is an experienced K-12 education professional with a decade of teaching experience in urban and rural settings and another decade of leading K-12 school buildings and central offices. Most recently as the Assistant Superintendent for WNYRIC Services and Educational Supports, Liz oversaw services for over 100 school districts, supporting 25,000 staff and 250,000 students. With a doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Management, and dual master’s degrees in special education and educational leadership, she blends practical experience with academic rigor. In addition to her work, she serves on several boards including, NYS Association for Women Administrators, Erie Net, and the WNY Digital Equity Coalition. In her free time, Liz can be found at home in Buffalo, NY with her husband, cooking, reading, and planning her next vacation.
