Works with frontline anti-virus for great security
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates ThreatDown EDR from other similar products?
Malwarebytes is much better at detecting and mitigating non-traditional or virus-like attack vectors than any of the frontline anti-virus programs that we evaluated. As such, we chose to use Malwarebytes in tandem with a frontline anti-virus solution, providing us with two levels of security against virus and malware attack vectors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is used across the company on all computers as a second-level security solution, working in tandem with Symantec Endpoint Protection. Before integrating Malwarebytes into our security solutions, we used to lose at least one or two days of user productivity per month due to drive-by malware attacks - these problems were completely eliminated by adding Malwarebytes to our security solution.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We are regularly faced with dramatic price increases each year at time of renewal, and usually have to negotiate with sales support for a few weeks to mitigate these increases. Even after negotiation, we regularly see price increases of approximately 35-40% on our annual renewals, which have amounted to an overall increase of more than 150% over just the past three years!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make the purchase - despite the high cost, it will pay for itself in preventing lost productivity and saving IT staff hours!
Pros
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Security Protects
- Continually Improving Product
