What differentiates Swimlane from other similar products?
The automation is something that has taken remedial or repetitive tasks off our plates. This has given us the ability to spend more time on things that are of more importance. End users don't even see the automated cases so focus is on things that matter.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to integrate all of our data sources into one application/tool is key to running smoothly and effectively. In our profession, time wasted could result in potential delays in recognizing security related events or activity.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Newer features need additional work at times. Not sure if broader testing would assist in launching new featured smore smoothly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Study up early in the process so that you cab actually integrate and use the capabilities of Swimlane. without the knowledge and understanding your expectations may not be met.

It is very code heavy and isn't a low code solution with fancy drag/drops for integrations.

Ensure you have a team ready to take on management of tool (any SOAR tool requires a lot of help)

Swimlane is very customizable and can stand out from others with the ease of being able to make it your own.

Being able to make the tools work the way you want it to and fix things you find.

I dislike how often the service goes down and how it can sometime be unstable to work with at times.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend finding if you need a tool that can be customized easily to your liking or if you need a tool fully set up for yourself.
