What differentiates Stripe Payments from other similar products?

Stripe Payments help receive payments over credit/debit cards. Visually appealing invoices and the ease by which one can create such invoices with or without website is impressive. By adding all our individual and business credentials like PAN card/Adhaar/Trade certificate, one can launch this payment gateway solution immediately. Obviously, such documents will go human verification but if everything submitted okay, nothing to worry.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease with which Stripe can be connected to any WordPress site with a couple of clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

For India, UPI payment is the most popular way to pay. Right now, Stripe does not support this. Also, Rupay debit card is most used by masses. But the same not supported.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While Stripe is convenient to receive international payments, do not rely solely for national payments (if from India).

What differentiates Stripe Payments from other similar products?

I will be biased; I love Stripe other than the payment processors we used at my previous job. We have used famous online payment solutions before to implement our clients' flow for their business. Stripe has a clear guide and instructions on how we can use this to leverage our clients' flow from one app integration to another. As a developer, I appreciate what the Stripe team has put effort into their product. It's straightforward to use, as their interface dashboard is very informative; you can create products and create quick checkout codes! Which I find very, very helpful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite feature or aspect of this product is that it has 2 Factor authentication, a quick code generation for express checkout, good API documentation, and good examples of integration and implementation in different programming languages. It's the first online payment software that I have used test environment for payment, making my coworkers and me before the test and use their features without getting in trouble on the live data and money.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I am in a third-world country, which means Stripe only accepts payments and processes to other countries. Although they have an Atlas program, it is not very cheap to set it up as it requires too many requirements. I hope they can release and support all currencies and countries as it would help businesses in my country, and I can also get clients locally. Another is when you use the test mode API on Zapier, an automation software. It won't work. I wish they could also add the test mode API endpoints there because I had one client for whom we needed to pay $1 for every transaction so that we could test the automation and then refund it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Are you a business that needs an online payment solution with great features, a data-driven dashboard and reports that can be used to pay multiple payment options such as Apple pay, Google pay, and Debit credit cards? Then Stripe payments are for you! Stripe is used worldwide and very trusted as it is used by many organizations worldwide. The features are widely great and you can connect it to any application which also has an API to achieve the business flow that you want. As a Web developer and Marketing automation specialist, I have used Stripe for my clients for the past seven years and counting. So far, none of them complains!
