What differentiates Splunk Enterprise Security from other similar products?

Splunk helps in getting maximum value from our data without much intervention after initial implementation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Once you are comfortable with the tool, the plethora of customization options it provides is very helpful both for us as well for the end users.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Building queries to extract data needs some time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Splunk is definitely the industry leader for log monitoring. Even though the license cost is a bit higher than some of the other tools, the tool capabilities justifies the price.

it collects data from multiple data sources and correlate. Reduce alert noise from multiple monitoring systems.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Training users is a little bit steeper, but once they have it, it's very powerful.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

helps with security compliance and addresses the security team's need to remain PCI compliant.
