What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Its ability to execute queries fast like no other data warehouse has.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simple syntax and industry leading software stability. We processed close to a billions of raw and it was better than almost all of the other alternatives.
What do you dislike most about this product?
cost: its a bit expensive
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
pricey but worth the money so if you have deep pockets and you want reliable data warehouse, snowflake is a great choice.

Great Product, but Beware Cost

What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake is very powerful and very easy to use. Its SQL dialect is very flexible, and the kinds of integrations it supports is really impressive.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Snowflake SQL is a delight to work with.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Snowflake can be very expensive, and requires a significant level of governance to ensure that costs are kept under control. I found it much easier to control BigQuery costs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start small -- e.g., smallest warehouses with low query timeouts -- and expand as needed. Keep costs in focus.
