What is Selenium?
Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should) also be automated as well.

Testing efficiency with Selenium
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Selenium from other similar products?
First of all, it supports a whole package of languages, already speaking highly for itself. Moreover, it supports all prime browsers, allowing parallel testing across various platforms.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One truly lovable feature is Language Support, which is also the reason I use this tool a lot. Along with this, Selenium offers Cross-Platform and Cross-Browser Testing too. I also like to make use of its CI Pipeline Automation feature, which lets me automatically run tests on code commits smoothly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes, the browser interactions slow down the whole testing process, causing delays and disruptions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Selenium does excel at UI automation, but I run into the fact that if you want to get full test coverage, it does need to be complemented with API and load testing stacks. So, this would be a small piece of suggestion for you because other than this, it is a unified platform for sure.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
