Super powerful for technical SEO
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Screaming Frog SEO Spider from other similar products?
Screaming Frog SEO Spider is different because it’s a desktop-based crawler, not a typical cloud tool—so it runs on your own system and can crawl websites super fast without depending on external servers.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite part is how detailed and powerful the crawling is it digs into every little SEO issue like broken links, redirects, and missing tags. Also, since it runs on your own system, it feels super fast and gives you full control over the data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I dislike most is that it can feel a bit technical and overwhelming, especially if you’re not from an SEO background. Also, since it’s a desktop tool, it can slow down your system on large crawls and isn’t as convenient as cloud-based tools
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I’d say if you’re considering Screaming Frog, go for it if you’re into technical SEO or detailed audits it’s super powerful but not beginner-friendly. Make sure your system can handle large crawls since it runs on your machine and can use a lot of RAM/CPU.
Pros
- Effective Service
- Saves Time
- Friendly Negotiation
- Appreciates Incumbent Status

Screaming Frog -The go to tool for deep SEO Audits
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Screaming Frog SEO Spider from other similar products?
It finds real technical problems, not just numbers. It exactly shows which URL is broken, which page has Missing H1/title. Which page is non HTTPs. It is much deeper than could tools like Ahrefs or Semrush. They are great for keywords research or backlink research. But for technical Seo screaming frog is the best. And the most important thing is it works on my Machine not online.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It can directly send a clear fix list to developer. It feels like I'm seeing the site the same way Google's crawler sees it. It shows exact URLs with problems not just summary number. It can customise the crawl (only images , only JS pages or only a folder)
What do you dislike most about this product?
The interface feels technical and overwhelming for beginners. It doesn't explains issues in simple words (you must already have a understanding of Seo). It can be heavy and slow on low RAM laptops for big websites. It shows what is wrong but does not tell you clear business impact like some cloud tools do.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Learn the basic Seo 1st , otherwise the tool will feel confusing. Start with small crawls 1st , the crawl the full site. Always export issue into Excel and share it with developer this is where you'll learn more.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
