What differentiates SAP HANA Cloud from other similar products?
SAP has covered long journey to reach to a maturity that it provides in its products. I suppose they require to work with market concepts of Microsoft products. The ease to implement and use Microsoft products are not that disappointing as it feels they release products thinking end users as non-technical which SAP management lacks for sure.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The maturity of the product which they developed being long term market plater.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Untested features that are released and start breaking the existing solutions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Please review product features and competitive providers like Microsoft and Oracle to name a few. Do a survey with industries using all available features gather their insights and compare what part of those insights you need in your business and which solution suits best. There are good solutions that are critical to us but not available in SAP HANA Cloud for now and so we have to wait for SAP to release them and its time taking activity. After investing millions into a product it is bit disappointing to know that some critical features were not in this but other technology providers.

What differentiates SAP HANA Cloud from other similar products?
While both the SAP Cloud Platform and the Oracle Cloud Platform offer API management, data, and application integration, leveraging real-time insights to design and deploy integrated applications, SAP has proven to be more advantageous for our company. Due to the fact that SAP HANA Cloud is a potent in-memory database technology that enables businesses to manage and analyze massive amounts of data in real time.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We were able to consolidate all of our data sources using SAP HANA Cloud. As a manufacturing company, we conduct numerous transactions every day involving clients, vendors, and internal business procedures. We receive data from our clients, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities, which are dispersed throughout the world.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Because SAP HANA Cloud is a cloud-based service, businesses only pay for the resources they use. The price of adopting SAP HANA Cloud may be high, depending on the volume and complexity of an organization's workloads. Additionally, it must be made to be more "low code" so that business users can rapidly pick it up and utilize it to run their unique ad hoc analyses.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The majority of the data for a large manufacturing company with a lot of material movement across companies comes from the ERP. Because the ERP in our case was also SAP, creating your own analytics and ad-hoc requirements was quite simple. There may be better options on the market for small and medium-sized businesses that are using alternative cloud-based ERP.
