What differentiates Sage 50cloud from other similar products?
Sage 50Cloud is one of the most user friendly softwares available on the market, it is important that new employees can easily grasp a software that is new to them, some in-house softwares from more corporate companies tend to be finicky and harder to understand, this leads to confusion and potential mistakes on the system, the last thing any new business would want is to double up on work because of software interfaces and lack of easy access.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The fact that you can import data into the system saves so much time, and when it comes to accounting you will find a lot of your time manually entering transactions that can take all day, the fact this can be automated is surely one of its best features, not to mention some of the reports are useful as well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish they expanded on their reporting section, there is a lot of potential to understand your company success/failure from different angles, there are a lot of number illiterate employees in every company so it is important that everyone can understand the purpose of these reports without being confused, they could work more on their user friendly reporting options.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would say this product is in the top 3 worldwide for a reason, it does have its flaws, but ultimately if you are starting out as a business and want a clear and simple software that provides basic to intermediate level financial reports then definitely pick Sage 50Cloud. It took me no time to learn how to enter transactions and reconcile bank accounts. Creating sales and supplier invoices are easy and it will make your life easier if you can learn to automate these procedures like I did.

What differentiates Sage 50cloud from other similar products?
Very simple data entries compared to other products. Such as inputting of invoices or raising of customer invoices. It is also simple to produce simple reports such as aged debts, which are shown in a user-friednly manner.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Payment runs are simple once you have set-up your bank into the system. It automatically identifies which invoices are due for payment and includes them in the payment run. It also has very easy to manage the general ledger and also maintain the chart of accounts
What do you dislike most about this product?
A few of the customers we deal with are also suppliers in some aspect. They request us to offset invoices against each other to leave the balance remaining. So the ability to easily contra invoices off against each other would beneficial although I appreciate its cleaner for audit purposes to treat them seperatly
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A very simple accounting software for the smallest of business. You don't need a large depth of accounting knowledge to get by. Training should be very easy due to its simplicity. If your expanding I would look elsewhere to sage 100 as this is really basic level
