I used it to manage employee laptops. It made provisioning and software deployment easier, and having everything in one place saved time.

Some features felt complex for first-time users ,it need to update

I recommend taking some time to configure device policies and automate onboarding during the initial setup. Once configured, the platform makes it much easier to manage employee devices, deploy software, and keep everything organized from a single dashboard.

What differentiates Rippling IT from other similar products?
What stands out is how IT management is connected with employee lifecycle processes. When new employees join, device setup and access provisioning can be handled quickly, and when someone leaves, access can be revoked in a structured manner. This reduces manual coordination between HR and IT and helps maintain better security and compliance.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite feature is the centralized device and access management. As an HR professional in a growing food and beverage company, it has made onboarding much smoother by ensuring employees receive the right tools and system access on time. It has also reduced follow-up work between HR and the IT team.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The platform offers many capabilities, so the initial setup and configuration can take time, especially for organizations implementing multiple workflows. Some advanced settings are not very intuitive, and additional onboarding guidance or simpler configuration wizards would make the experience easier for new administrators.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Before implementation, take time to map your onboarding, offboarding, and IT processes so you can configure the platform effectively. Involve both HR and IT teams from the beginning and start with the core workflows before expanding to more advanced features. This approach helps teams see value more quickly while keeping the rollout manageable.
