What differentiates Qualys VMDR from other similar products?

It’s prioritization that is based on risk and not just severity The automation and integration with IT workflows whereby VMDR automates among others alert flows and targeted patch actions, and all these reduces manual works

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The automated and actionable prioritization Comprehensive asset awareness as this tool can see all assets on a network in one place

What do you dislike most about this product?

Very complex in terms of asset classification tuning, steep initial setup hence has a learning curve

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For deeper reporting pair with external BI integration Have a clear budget for initial team training for easier and smooth implementation and adoption

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the real-time visibility and clear prioritization of vulnerabilities, which makes it easier to focus on what matters most and act quickly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The reporting and customization can feel a bit complex at times and takes some learning to fully use effectively.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I’d recommend clearly defining your requirements first and investing time in initial setup and training. Once configured properly, it delivers strong visibility, prioritization, and long-term value.
