What differentiates PTC Windchill from other similar products?
PTC windchill is a unique and very useful PLM tool for Engineer's and Industries. Its features like BOM creation, Change Management, Structure of Assemblies, Availability of different languages, Project management, Task addition, user friendly UI and accessibility of features, Quick Links, Search criteria, Hot links feature, Workspace creation, Visualisation of components and attributes, meta data creation, compare, Export to spreadsheet, project and product tracking from very start to end all this and other features of Windchill makes it good and is stands out from other softwares.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Components, Product and Project tracking, BOM creation and export, Change Management and Release process notification postmaster, I can able to save any type of document and cad data in Windchill.
What do you dislike most about this product?
No direct release process thru Windchill and not able to make library parts for atleast hardwares
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend PTC windchill to companies and engineers for their day to day activities like using windchill they can able to track their projects, set timelines, can release products, change management and track product and components, search old data, will safeguard each and every details of products.
