Seamless Microsoft mapping but a complex setup
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates OrbusInfinity from other similar products?
It embeds itself into the Microsoft ecosystem and other platforms force you to learn complex, proprietary modeling software, Orbus lets you build your blueprints using familiar tools like Microsoft Visio, Teams, and Power BI. The backend automatically syncs that data into a governed repository, turning what is usually a technical, isolated sandbox into a living document the whole company can actually access. It also pulls live data automatically from systems like ServiceNow or Jira and uses built-in AI assistants to flag data gaps and map dependencies.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It lets you map out complex company tech and workflows using Microsoft Visio. Usually, adopting a massive enterprise architecture tool is a total nightmare because everyone has to learn a clunky, specialized software from scratch. With Orbus, you get to stick with the familiar Visio interface you probably already use, while the platform silently syncs all that data into a live, unified repository in the background. It keeps everyone in their comfort zone but still gives the company a single, powerful source of truth without the usual onboarding headache.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The biggest downside is the steep learning curve and the initial onboarding setup. Because the platform has so much depth and so many features, it can feel completely overwhelming for new users who are not already deeply familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
My advice is to start with a small, clear scope rather than trying to map your entire company overnight. Because the tool lets you map absolutely everything from business capabilities down to individual servers, it is easy to get bogged down in data entry and burn out before you ever show real value.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Trustworthy
